４月２８日（水）　This week the second graders are finishing up their study of the alphabet and from here on should be able to write the whole alphabet easily.

I am focusing on helping the students transition to a prettier and more flowing writing style. It will take time but I hope the students will be able to write in semi cursive（筆記体のようなもの） and have a similar writing style to kids of the same age in English speaking countries.
This week we also played hangman with a focus on animals. I drew a characterised animal one stroke at a time with each wrong letter they guessed. The students were quick to guess the animals even the lesser known ones.
