１月２７日（木）　It’s been a little difficult for everyone at Sundai Elementary School because of Omicron, but the third-graders are doing their best.  Today we practiced for the EIKEN junior test, which is this weekend.  Most people know about the test made up of listening tasks designed to encourage young children in Japan to learn English.  It’s important for the students planning to take the test to practice for it, and for the students who do not plan to take the test it is still an interesting and valuable experience.  The third-graders practiced for the highest level of the test, “Gold”, and did well.  They could see how much they have learned in English class since the first grade.  Some students were perhaps not happy that we did not play any fun activities or games today, but we will do that next time!
