３月１３日（月）　It was a special day for the third-graders, because today they gave their “Country Presentations”!  This is an activity where they gather information about a country that they choose. They then do research as a team of about five students. Each student in the team gets information about the country such as: the capital city, population, weather and temperature, and a famous place, such as a world heritage site. There were 15 countries to choose from: Thailand, Russia, Brazil, USA, South Africa, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Australia, France, Egypt, Spain, Canada, United Kingdom, and Mexico.

After gathering information about each country, the students then had to practice in front of the class talking about their chosen country in ENGLISH. Today the students could finally give their presentations. This year was the first time to use tablets to gather information as well as find pictures. Some teams even used videos. It may have been a challenge for some students to speak in front of many people, but everyone did such a great job. It was lots of fun, and we all learned a lot about different parts of the world.
