７月７日（金）　Today was a busy day! We started the class with a song: “Good Morning”. This song helps students remember basic greetings in English such as, “Good Morning”, Good Afternoon”, “Good Evening”, and so on. There is a lot of jumping and dancing with this song, so the first graders enjoy it for this reason.
We then opened our textbooks “Sounds Great 1”and studied the letters “Gg”, ”Hh”, and ”Ii”, as well as vocabulary that begins with those letters.
After that, we practiced the question “How old are you?”, and the answer “I’m ___ years old”. The students could all answer well!
Finally, we played a new game: “True or False?” using the Word Book. After studying “Birthday” vocabulary, the students had to remember what they saw in the Word Book, and decide if it was true or false. For example, “The girl is 7 years old” or “5 donuts are on the table”. If you were paying attention well, you can go to the next round! If you weren’t, try harder next time!
